This is the standard template supplied with Members Hub. A club deploying the software inserts its own name and contact address wherever a [placeholder] appears, and confirms that the refund and fee terms in section 4 match its own rules.

The deployed copy your club publishes is the one that governs your use.

These terms cover your use of the Members Hub provided by BitLith Ltd for [Club]. By signing in, you accept them.

They are between you and the club. BitLith provides the software; the club runs the membership.

1. Who can use it

1.1The Members Hub is for members of the club, and for people applying to join.

1.2You need an account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell the club promptly if you think someone else has access.

1.3The club decides who is a member, and may approve, decline or end a membership under its own rules. Losing membership means losing access.

2. Your information

2.1Give accurate details, and keep them current. You can correct your own name in My Profile; ask a club admin to change your email, because it is also your sign-in.

2.2How your data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.

2.3Other signed-in members can see your name, your competition entries and your results. Start lists and results may be published by the club when it publicises an event.

3. Using it properly

3.1Use the Members Hub only for club business.

3.2Do not attempt to access other members' records or areas you have no role for, disrupt the service, or extract data in bulk.

3.3Anything you write (support messages, expense descriptions, committee notes) should be accurate and civil, and must not infringe anyone else's rights.

3.4The club may suspend access for a serious or repeated breach.

4. Subscriptions and payments

4.1Subscription fees are set by the club. The Members Hub shows what you owe.

4.2You may pay online by card, or by bank transfer or cash as the club allows. Card payments are handled by the club's payment provider; the Members Hub never sees your card details.

4.3An online payment may carry a small admin fee shown before you pay, so the club receives the full subscription after the card provider's charge. Bank transfer and cash carry no such fee.

4.4Your payment is recorded against the season it is for. Paying early for a coming season is recorded as such.

4.5Refunds are at the club's discretion under its own rules. Where a card payment is refunded, it goes back to the card that paid it; a bank or cash payment is refunded by the same route.

4.6Fees are otherwise [Club to confirm: non-refundable / refundable within N days].

5. Entries and results

5.1Entering an event through the Members Hub is subject to the club's own event rules, including its entry closing dates and cancellation terms.

5.2Results, placings and league points are decided by the club and its judges. The Members Hub records them; it does not adjudicate them. Query a result with the club.

5.3The club may correct a result or standing where an error is found.

6. Availability

6.1The club aims to keep the Members Hub available, but it is provided as is and without a guarantee of uptime. It may be unavailable during maintenance or because of a fault in a third-party service.

6.2If the Members Hub is unavailable, the club will fall back to its usual alternative arrangements for entries and communication.

7. Liability

7.1Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

7.2Subject to 7.1, neither the club nor BitLith is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your failure to keep your login secure.

7.3Riding and competing carry inherent risk. The Members Hub is an administration tool; it does not affect the club's or the venue's own liability, insurance or safety rules, which apply as normal.

8. Intellectual property

8.1The software is owned by BitLith Ltd and licensed to the club. You get no rights in it beyond using the Members Hub as a member.

8.2The club's name, logo and content are the club's.

8.3Do not copy, reproduce or reverse-engineer any part of the Members Hub.

9. Ending your use

9.1You may stop using the Members Hub at any time and ask the club to close your account.

9.2The club keeps your competition history as part of its records; you may ask for your personal details to be erased or anonymised. See the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and governing law

10.1The club may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to members, and continuing to use the Members Hub means accepting them.

10.2These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
